Sewing Bits & Pieces

Here are some of the bits and pieces I made last Christmas for presents .  A few people have asked me why don't you sell them, well, two reasons.  1 - they are very messy up close and 2 - they take me so long that I would never actually make any money from the pieces!  I just enjoy making cute things for people I know.  Especially those that like and enjoy them!

None of these pieces were made from patterns.  The bag design was shown to me from a friend and the skirts, dresses & aprons were made up based on samples & measurements of the girls I was sewing for.

Very large pile of homemade Christmas presents:

Library Bags:

Shopping or baby change bags:

Skirts:

Shirred dresses - my fave!!!  I really need some daughters! ; )

Apron:

I'm trying to find my sewing mojo again to think of some goodies for this coming Christmas.  Next week is my toddler's 3rd birthday so hopefully after that, I'll start thinking of some new creative bits to make with my HUGE supply of fabric!

Love Amy xoxo

  2. I really want to learn to sew. I wish you could teach me! I'd love to make some simple summer dresses for myself similar to what you've shown above. I love the aaprons and bags too.
